We had a period in the computer room to start working on our Light Technology assignment. Rough work is due Wednesday. If you were absent, please see me to confirm your topic. Presentation (5 min. max) is due Monday May 3rd. Assignment outline and rubric is available on Optics page entitled: Optics and technology.
We reviewed our ray rules (all 4) we discovered yesterday. Next we applied these rules to find images on a worksheet provided in class. We will finish tomorrow. If you missed, please see me - it's a bit tricky at first. Homework: Study for Friday's quiz. Suggested review questions are listed in a previous blog (not so long ago.).
A great review is the Chapter 11 Review on pages 506 - 507. No need to do #21-23. All the rest are good.

Yesterday we did an exploratory activity to highlight the properties of light. Today we discussed what light is exactly and walked through the history of our understanding of light. We also looked at how reflections are different with plane/convex/concave mirrors. Homework: p. 46
