Your Optics Unit Test is tomorrow, Wed. April 24.
Today we learned how to create a concept map to help us study.
I started one on the board and you had the balance of the period to complete it. This is the beginning of your culminating project. Don't worry, your concept map is due in June! Use this opportunity to study for your physics test, though, Wed. April 24 Today we learned how to use math to solve thin lens problems.
Homework: Read 13.4 (Thin Lens - I believe it's 13.4) Do: The worksheet I handed out. Don't have it? Do #1 and #3 at the end of the thin lens chapter. Today we learned about convex lens and what the numbers mean on them. (ie: What's the difference between a +10 lens and a +15 lens.
We also learned how to find images accurately using ray diagrams. HomeworK; Read 13.1 and 13.3 Do: p. 553 # 2,3,4,5,6 Remember to check answers on the Optics webpage |
