Today we learned about the landmarks of a lens (light travels thru a lens) Groups performed an inquiry and handed in their work for assessment. If you were absent, you will need to make arrangments to do this. Homework: Read 13.1 and answer #2,3,4,5,6 on page 553.
Time to ask questions today about previous days' homework. Although number answers are in the back of the text, the past week's worth of homework is all posted on side bulletin board (word answers too!). Please check your work. Today we discussed Apparent Depth, Formation of Rainbows and that mirage you see on the road on hot summer days. You were to copy the sketches and answer related questions. Homework: Make sure you are all caught up especially if away today and study for unit test. Keep working on your project.
Today we did a week before quiz and also did a self-reflection survey re: am i reading text? doing homework? asking for help? Each student conferenced briefly with teacher.
