We watched more of the climate change movie today.
You also got a whole bunch of biology work back. If you got your physics unit mark signed off by a parent/guardian, then you received your biology unit mark. We started a movie on climate change.
A few students completed their research presentation but the bulk of the period was for your culminating project. This is worth 10% of your mark and is due Friday Jan. 18th. FIRM (no lates).
Today we had students do their presentations. There are still a few more to go - be ready tomorrow. I also explained the culminating project which is due in a month, Friday Jan. 18th. (This is a FIRM deadline). I have posted examples in class and you had 25 min. today and most of tomorrow to get going on this. These are the only 2 days I can give you in class to work on it. Don't leave for the very last minute!
Today we got through a lot of (but not all) presentations.
Tomorrow - be prepared to present if you haven't and the balance of the period will be review. UNIT TEST - Friday Dec. 14. Today we did a frog dissection. Please complete the frog handout for tomorrow. It will be marked.
Also remember --> PRESENTATIONS are tomorrow - WED. and UNIT TEST - Friday. LESSON #14 - Today a note on how systems interact. The circulatory system, in particular, interacts with many other systems. We drew a labelled sketch like the one in chapter 3.11.
Homework: Read 3.11 and complete # 1,2,3,4,6 . Also complete the frog handout. |
