Today we learned more about greenhouse gases and the greenhouse effect. Please get notes from a classmate if you were away.
We also watched 2 videos - "Greenhouse gases and how they work" and 'Ted Ed Climate Change'. You can find links to these short (less than 4 min) videos on the climate change page. You were given an exam review to work on. You will have 2 more days in class next week to work on this.

Please see a classmate for a copy of the notes. Homework: Read 8.4 (about spheres) and 8.3 (Earth's energy balance) Work on culminating project - due next Friday - firm deadline! Today we completed the note based on the documentary, Before the Flood. We discussed 3 things you personally could do now to reverse effects of climate change. We also drew out and discussed the carbon cycle. You can read about it in chapter 8.6 in the text.
We watched 2 videos that have links on the Climate Change website: Facts About Climate Change and Why People Don't Believe in Climate Change Homework: Please read the text and watch (or rewatch) the videos if you weren't in class today. We took a note based on the first half of this documentary movie. If you were absent, please grab the note from a classmate.
